Itinerary
Yangon - Pha-an
Day 1: Morning depart from Yangon by car via
historical Bago and Thaton, then proceed to Pha-An, the
capital of Kayin state, with the visit for Bayin Nyi
limestone cave with hot spring. Arrival at late afternoon
for check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Pa-An.
Pha-an - Mawlamyaine
Day 2: Breakfast at hotel. Pha-an city tour
includes Zwekabin Hill, Kawkathaung cave in small wood, Shwe
Yin Myaw pagoda by the Thanlwin River, bustling jetty and
city market. In the early afternoon, continue by land
driving to Mawlamyaine, the capital of Mon state. Visit via
Khayonegu caves that enshrine numerous Buddha images with
stalactites and stalagmites. Arrival at late afternoon for
check-in at hotel. In the evening, leisurely walk along road
by Thanlwin River. Overnight stay at hotel in Mawlamyaine.

Mawlamyaine - Thanbyu Zayat -
Kyaik Khami - Mawlamyaine
Day 3: Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Mudon
to see world largest reclining Buddha image. Continue to
Thanbyu Zayat where Second World War memorial cemetery can
be seen. Then proceed to the visit for Kyaik Khami Yay-leh
pagoda enshrined with 11 hair relics of Buddha. Return to
Mawlamyaine and late afternoon visit to Kyaikthanlan pagoda
and view point, all situated on a mountain range. Overnight
stay at hotel in Mawlamyaine. (B)
Mawlamyaine - Yangon
Day 4: Breakfast at hotel. Morning depart from
Mawlamyaine by car with several photo stops en route. Visit
Bago with its local market and some more pagodas. Arrival at
Yangon in the late afternoon. (B)
