Itinerary
Yangon/ Mandalay – Homilin –
Htamanthi – Leshi
Day 1: (12.01.2008). Fly either from Yangon or
Mandalay airport to Homalin. Welcome and transfer to jetty
for continuation of journey. Cross the Chindwin River, one
of the major tributary of the might Ayeyarwady River, by
boat to Htamanthi village. Enjoy lunch and refreshment at
Htamanthi village before continuing to Leshi by light truck.
Arrival at Leshi in the early evening and check-in at guest
houses as local accommodation with native materials. Dinner
and over night stay at Leshi. (L/D)

NB: When Naga Tour is extended from
other parts of tour, you can join directly from
Mandalay, and depart to Yangon at the end. Vice visa,
when Naga tour is commenced from Yangon, then you can
continue directly to other destinations by flight via
Mandalay.
Visits around Leshi
Day 2: (13.01.2008). Breakfast at guest house.
Visit Naga villages around Leshi and studying Naga nature
life. Lunch & dinner included. Overnight stay at guest house
at Leshi. (B/L/D)
Naga Traditional Ceremonial
Pole erection
Day 3: (14.01.2008). Breakfast at guest house.
Naga Traditional Ceremonial Pole is erected. Various Naga
clans in all their traditional costumes will be there to
participate. Explore the villages around Leshi on your own.
Lunch & dinner included. Overnight stay at guest house at
Leshi. (B/L/D)
Opening Ceremony of Naga New
Year
Day 4: (15.01.2008). Opening ceremony of Naga New
Year Festival in the early morning. Take the traditional
food and rice wine with elder Naga community. After the
opening ceremony, dance competitions from various villages
and sport events will start. A large bonfire is set up in
the evening where you dance & cheer Naga New Year. Lunch &
dinner included. Overnight stay at guest house at Leshi.

Leshi – Htamanthi - Homilin –
Mandalay/ Yangon
Day 5: (16.01.2008). Breakfast at guest house.
Drive back to Htamanthi. Then proceed to Homilin by boat for
flying back to either Mandalay or Yangon.
