Day 1- Monday
Mandalay (Shwe Kyat Yet jetty)
In the morning, you are transferred to the Shwe Kyat Yet
Jetty and board the RV. Pandaw II. Depart from Mandalay and
cruise all day. Lunch, dinner and overnight on the RV Pandaw
II.
Day 2: Tuesday
Bagan
Early morning you will arrive Thein Gone Village,
situated just 10 km south of Pakokku. The village was
established just 50 years ago on the fertile river plain
close to the great River. Everyone in the village is a
farmer and the main crops are corn, peanuts, tobacco and
small areas of paddy. There is a pleasant Buddhist monastery
with 5 monks and over 25 monastery boys and a state-run
village school with 4 teachers, but they commute from nearby
Pakokku. Arrive Bagan mid morning and transfer to your
hotel. |
